1st coat = 40% v/w depending on surface conditions
2nd coat = 45 - 50% v/w depending on surface conditions
2 sq.mtr / kg / 2 coats on well prepared substrate.
- Clean the surface with emery paper, putty blade or wire brush. Moisten the wall with clean water. There should be no dirt, oil traces or algae on the surface
- Mix the putty with 40 % water by volume to Vijay White to prepare a uniform paste. Add the water gradually. Stir the mix thoroughly to avoid formation of lumps. Let it rest for 10 minutes. Give the paste a good mix once more
- Apply first coat of putty starting from the bottom of the wall in an upward direction uniformly using a putty knife
- Allow it to dry for 2 -3 hours and then rib the surface gently with fine emery paper to remove loose particles
- Apply the second coat with fresh material and maintain the total thickness of the two coats to about 1.5 mm
- Allow it to dry for at least 10 – 12 hours
- Not recommended for painted or non-cementitious surfaces
- Ensure the material is mixed homogenously with water
- Once the putty paste is hardened, it should not be softened by the addition of water and applied on the wall
- Use rubber hand gloves & safety goggles
- In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of water
- Keep out of reach of children
